REBECCA LAUBE-POHTO
Rebecca Laube-Pohto is a Finnish dance artist, choreographer, performer, and educator based between Brussels and Central Finland, whose work spans international artistic contexts. Her practice is rooted in physicality, presence, and Instant composition, and spans international collaborations across contemporary performance and dance. She is the co-founder and artistic director of Keskellä Collective. Her work explores embodied experience, connection, and choreography as a living, relational process. Read more +
Alongside her artistic work, Rebecca Laube-Pohto has taught dance for over twenty years, working with both recreational and professional dancers in Finland and internationally. Her pedagogical practice includes contemporary dance, improvisation, floor work, partnering, as well as Flying Low and Passing Through -methods, and aims to create environments that support curiosity, agency, and embodied awareness. She has developed the Root Unfolding -practise and, together with Norwegian dance artist Iselin Brogeland, the Sharing Through Moving -practise. Read more about teaching +
